Launch of REPRESENT: A Social Creativist Project 2025

Starting in February and culminating at the Lichfield Arts Fuse Festival in July, REPRESENT is a new outreach project created by *Nurture Community CIC* and *Transition Lichfield*. This Social Creativist initiative will explore how we create and express identity through what we choose to wear and how we represent ourselves.
How can we, together, help the next generation find more ethical and sustainable ways to express their identity?
Through engaging workshops, participants will create identity bracelets from reclaimed materials. These bracelets will not only be a fun, creative activity but also a catalyst for discussing more ethical approaches to self-representation.
We can’t talk about self-expression without mentioning self-care. We will be collaborating with mental health charities to promote ways to support our mental well-being, crafting being a great opportunity for mindfulness

Register to take part in this project—spaces are limited to a maximum of 15 participants per session. We work with smaller groups to encourage meaningful conversations, and for larger groups, we’ll provide additional hosts to ensure everyone is engaged. Hosting and materials are included, though donations are welcomed.
