Lichfield Repair and Share Cafe & FREE Creative Workshop

It’s International Repair Day on 18th Oct!
Bring your broken items for repair by our volunteers as usual – electrical, household, toys, clothing, tools for sharpening, computer/IT support…if in doubt, just ask!
Please note: they cannot do repairs to traditional clocks or TV repairs
Refreshments are available too. Donations for repairs are appreciated, but not obligatory.
FREE WORKSHOP WITH GENEROUS WASTE
Repairing Materials, Repairing Relationships
Join us at Lichfield Repair Café for a hands-on workshop exploring how to repair our relationship with materials often dismissed as waste. Using handmade paper and creative techniques, you’ll craft your own manifesto imagining new possibilities for these resources. Together, we’ll think beyond consumerist and capitalist frameworks, using conversation, experimentation, and creativity to uncover the hidden potential in what we often discard.
Khadijah is the founder of Generous Waste, a platform which enables us to radically reimagine our world through the transformation of waste. She is a multidisciplinary artist who uses creative practices to invite us to reimagine our possibilities.
