Memory Threads: 2024 Community Outreach Project

Thanks to the kind and generous support from David Wilson Homes and Barrat Homes, this year’s community art project will be called “Memory Threads”, to connect, communicate and raise awareness of Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Will be working with many of our community partners, and community members including schools, community groups, residential care homes, and youth groups, between April and July 2024, to create meaningful, sensory-focused, memory-infused postcards.

We will then create a visible showcase at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre for all to visit, whilst the artwork will inspire a youth theatre performance, developing conversation around memory loss and how we can support each other better as a community. The performance will then be taken on a road-trip around local schools and beyond!
