Power with Purpose!
Staffordshire Community Energy have launched a share offer, to raise funds to pay back the loan that was taken so that solar panels could be installed on the new leisure centre in Lichfield. The 395 panels were fitted at the end of last year and are now fully operational, providing reduced rate energy to Lichfield District Council for the running of the leisure facilities.
You can be part of this project by investing anything from £100 to £10,000 in the scheme and get a return on your money each year plus help fund community initiatives such as Beat the Cold.
